The AETHER Fund provides financial support to projects led by entrepreneurs committed to addressing societal challenges and combating the degradation of marine and river environments.
In practice
The AETHER Fund supports innovative projects, particularly those led by social entrepreneurs, that tackle the degradation of marine and river environments by providing:
- a grant that gives project leaders a “leverage effect” to support the development of their project
- media visibility
- access to an extensive network of organisations and associations working to preserve water and its ecosystems
Why this Fund?
Created in 2018 by Christian Simonard, a sailing enthusiast, the AETHER Fund provides financial support to sustainable water-related initiatives, helping them expand their impact over several years and build long-term viability.
The stages
1. Submission of applications
Applications can be submitted throughout the year.
2. Pre-selection based on written applications
Applications are reviewed and assessed by a selection committee.
3. Selection of projects
Projects are selected by two dedicated committees: one in the spring and one in the autumn.
For the selection of projects, we work with an independent scouting network.
Through the Aether Fund for Future Generations, you can make a tangible contribution to sustainable initiatives that protect aquatic environments.
