Steps
1. Discussing and refining your project
A confidential conversation with the Foundation’s team to explore your project and the options available to you.
2. Defining your Fund’s objectives, governance and operating framework
These arrangements are formalised in an agreement establishing your Fund.
Your Fund can also be created through a donation or as part of your will.
3. Setting up your Fund and providing financial support
You make one or more gifts (direct gift, donation or bequest), which are allocated to your Fund.
4. Taking action and tracking impact
Your Fund supports concrete initiatives, with regular reporting on activities and impact.

Imagine new solutions by supporting ideas and fresh thinking? Prototype them to test and demonstrate their relevance and feasibility? Support the launch of impact-driven ventures to bring promising solutions to a wider audience?
You choose where to focus your support, at what stage and for whom, within a coherent continuum that enables solutions to take shape, be tested and scale up to deliver tangible impact.
You can draw on a strong ecosystem, rooted in particular in the worlds of education and research, as well as impact entrepreneurship.
You choose the key thematic areas that matter to you
Climate and the low-carbon transition, architecture and spatial planning, aquatic ecosystems, food, health, behavioural sciences… these are just some of the themes already supported by Fund founders. Tomorrow, perhaps social tech, low tech or other levers for impact: you choose the area that matters to you!
An independent framework serving the public interest
Whatever you choose, your commitment is part of a strictly philanthropic approach serving the public interest. As such, your Fund does not under any circumstances finance activities that provide a material benefit to its founders. Your actions are aligned with the mission and Founding Charter of the Foundation for Future Generations. As an independent foundation, it does not promote any religious, philosophical or political doctrine.
Your transformative impact
Your Fund supports initiatives that address the root causes of today’s challenges, focusing primarily on emerging solutions for tomorrow led by young talents.
Its impact can be financial, non-financial (support, networking, visibility for the initiatives supported, etc.), or a combination of both, depending on your choices.
