I worked as an environmental consultant for more than 10 years, a profession I pursued with passion and great enjoyment. Today, among other roles, I am a director of a family-owned company whose annual income has enabled me to build up sufficient assets to share through projects that are close to my heart. One of these projects was the creation of the AETHER Fund within the Foundation for Future Generations. My desire to support WATER-related projects through this Fund stems from my passion for sailing, which I have practised since childhood.

The Fund’s activities

The AETHER Fund for Future Generations, created in 2018 at the initiative of Christian Simonard within the Foundation, aims to help people think, act and innovate with a 360° approach. How? By supporting:

In practice

The Fund provides financial support to innovative projects that tackle the degradation of marine and river environments, which are under increasing pressure from pollution and overexploitation. This includes initiatives addressing various forms of marine pollution, the sustainable management of marine and freshwater resources, the preservation of aquatic biodiversity, and sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.

The Fund runs a call for projects that is open all year round.
